I’m just going to leave this here and let you think about this. As you can see (if you enlarge the image) the headliners are Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire and Kanye West. Plus the fact that there are a million other really great bands. Let this sink in for a few minutes…
The first track off the highly anticipated Kanye/Jay-Z collab album Watch The Throne has officially dropped this morning. Kanye’s current album was named Top Album of 2010 on basically every list out there and it seems to be flowing over to this one. I don’t think you could possibly go wrong with this collaboration album. at.all. Listen to “H.A.M.” (hard as a motherfucker) below!

Watch this video while you can, it won’t be up for long. Looks like the music video for Mr. West’s “Monster” which features..well…everyone…has leaked online. In true Kanye fashion this video is awesome so far but we have no idea if it is complete. Check it out!
There is nothing Kanye can’t take on…not even Christmas! Ye just released this song “Christmas in Harlem” that kind of makes you want to be walking around in the snow..which I will be in one week (Michigan). Typical Kanye has grabbed everyone and their mom for this track. Listen below!
So Kanye’s epic album is out and everyone is gushing about it…which they should because it is amazing. A Kanye/Jay-Z track has emerged this morning most likely off their future joint album (Thanks to SKOA for the heads up). The song also features Elly Jackson aka La Roux who sings that “Bulletproof” song you can never get out of your head. Listen to the track below…are you excited for the Kanye/Jay-Z album??
Nicki Minaj leaks and news have been blowing it up lately. Me thinks it is due to the fact that on Monday her album drops…doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. Or does it? Anyway check out 2 more leaked tracks. “Blazin” features Kanye whos album also drops on the 22nd, and “Fly” features Rihanna. What albums will you be purchasing this Monday?

As the release of ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ approaches, I get closer and closer to wetting my pants with anticipation. Seriously. It’s been getting 5 star ratings, yo! So it must be good. At any rate, check out these 2 full-length leaks of “Blame Game (featuring John Legend and Chris Rock)” and “Gorgeous (featuring Kid Cudi and Raekwon).”
So apparantly the above was intended to be the album cover for Kanye’s soon to be released My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy but has been banned. It’s pretty creepy but I don’t find anymore offensive than other covers I’ve seen. Kanye has responded with a few tweets on the matter:
“I wanna sell albums but not at the expense of my true creativity.”
“So Nirvana can have a naked human being on they cover but I can’t have a PAINTING of a monster with no arms and a polka dot tail and wings”
What do you guys think? Does it offend you or do you think people are overreacting?
I for one am confused that there is a video for this song as I swore I read in his Complex Magazine interview that he didn’t take that song seriously. That being said it is a fun video for “Erase Me” bringing to my attention that if there is ever a Jimi Hendrix biopic I think we have a lead man in Cudi. If you are a crazy “love to point out cameos” person like me you will notice that the video also features Christopher Mintz-Plasse (better know as McLovin) and Clark Duke (Greek). Here’s a little something to help you get through the rest of the work day: a new track from Lloyd Banks titled “Start It Up.” The song, which is off Lloyd’s new album The Hunger For More 2 due out November 23, features a plethora of your favorite artists. This is definitely a better track than anything fellow G-Unit member 50 Cent has done recently (see previous post) and Lloyd know how to pick the RIGHT people to collaborate with like Kanye and Swizz Beatz.
