Cover of the Day: Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros Tackle Bowie

Many have tried, few have succeeded. In covering David Bowie that is. Perhaps my favorite Bowie covers have been from that of Seu Jorge which were featured on the Life Aquatic, but I always love me some ES &TMZ. Thats short for Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros if you were unsure. One of our favorite bands has covered  “Memory of a Free Festival” for the David Bowie tribute album We Were So Turned On which also benefits the War Child charity helping children all over the world affected by war. The album goes on sale September 14th and also features covers from Warpaint, Duran Duran, Carla Bruni and Vivian Girls. Listen to the song below!
